Also, you say jaguar’s leaper is facing left... but on the car it’s going forward. Where did you get left from? Company logo? Is that same as emblem on car tho?

The front facing logo is called the Growler, which I’m almost sure is a joke at the expense of non British speakers.

I love less average nights! For the reasons you mention, hopefully with a long walk with the dogs, the kids playing sports in the yard, and a nice fire in the backyard at the end.

Vauxhall is awkward, because the body is turned to the left but the head is turned to the right.
Not that it’ll matter much longer (I came here via the PSA/Opel purchase story).

The AMC Hornet emblem was multi-directional. On the body sides (and hood with the Hornet AMX decal), it pointed forward, to the front of the car. On the fuel cap, it pointed up.

Also, Chrysler Corp’s Eagle marque (post AMC buyout) always had the animal facing right.

For Imperial’s history as a standalone marque, the eagle was viewed from the front with wings outstretched. But the eagle’s head was looking to the left. When Chrysler relaunched the Imperial in 1990, the eagle’s head was looking to the right instead.

Buick’s emblem used to be a hawk facing right, although it could face left if the logo was put on the driver’s side of the car.
The Skyhawk emblem itself also showed a hawk flying to the right.
From the 1930s-50s, the Buick emblem featured a golden deer head looking to the left as part of David Dunbar Buick’s family coat of arms.

Actually, the cormorant appears on the very top of Packard’s emblem! Its body faces left, but its head is pointing down as if hunting for fish.
